Reliable EMI Shielding, Grounding & Electrical Repairs — Through-Surface Conductivity
Our double sided conductive copper foil tape combines high-purity copper with a pressure-sensitive conductive adhesive to deliver electrical continuity across both the foil surface and the glue layer. This copper foil tape forms instant, solder-free bonds between contact points, making it a trusted choice for engineers, technicians, and makers who need dependable EMI shielding, static discharge protection, and low-resistance grounding. Each roll of conductive copper tape is engineered to conform to irregular surfaces, resist oxidation, and maintain stable performance in demanding electronic and industrial environments.
Every roll is manufactured from high-purity copper, providing low electrical resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, and consistent surface conductivity for reliable shielding and signal integrity.
Both the copper foil and the adhesive layer conduct electricity. Overlaps, seams, and bonded contact points maintain full continuity — the key advantage of double-sided over single-sided copper tape.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive is loaded with conductive particles, creating a stable electrical bond the moment it makes contact. It adheres firmly to metals, plastics, glass, and painted surfaces.
This self-adhesive copper foil bends and wraps around curves, corners, and complex shapes without tearing. It cuts cleanly with scissors or a knife, so custom widths and shapes are quick to produce.
The copper face accepts standard solder for permanent joints when needed. For temporary or field repairs, the conductive adhesive alone provides a dependable electrical connection.
Conductive copper foil tape is used across electronics, manufacturing, education, and craft industries wherever electrical continuity or shielding is required.
Line equipment enclosures, guitar cavities, amplifier chassis, and device housings to suppress electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.
Bridge broken traces on printed circuit boards, repair damaged flex circuits, and restore continuity to worn conductive paths without soldering.
Establish low-resistance ground connections and dissipate electrostatic discharge to protect sensitive semiconductors and assemblies.
Wrap cable splices, connectors, and shielded cable ends to maintain shield continuity and reduce signal leakage in RF and data systems.
Build LED cards, interactive posters, wearable electronics, and educational prototypes with easy-to-apply conductive copper tape.
Wrap glass edges for soldering in stained glass panels, suncatchers, and decorative metalwork projects.

Single-sided copper foil tape uses a non-conductive adhesive and conducts electricity only on the exposed copper face. It works well for stained glass, general wrapping, and shielding applications where contact occurs on one side only. Double-sided conductive copper foil tape conducts through both the foil and the adhesive, so every overlap and bonded surface maintains electrical continuity — essential for grounding through stacked layers and reliable EMI shielding.
Choose double-sided conductive copper tape when your design depends on electrical contact at every seam, overlap, or bond point — for example, connecting shielded enclosures, grounding through taped joints, or repairing circuit traces where the tape must bridge two conductive surfaces. If electrical performance is not required and the tape serves a decorative or moisture-barrier purpose, standard adhesive copper foil may be sufficient.
Yes. The copper surface accepts standard rosin-core solder with a typical soldering iron. The conductive adhesive also forms an electrical bond on its own, while soldering adds a permanent mechanical joint for high-vibration or long-term installations.
Conductive adhesive copper tape allows current to flow through the glue layer, so overlaps and contact points remain electrically continuous. Non-conductive adhesive copper tape insulates at the glue line and conducts only on the copper surface, which is suitable for crafts and one-sided shielding but not for through-bond grounding.
Copper naturally resists corrosion and performs across a wide temperature range. For extended outdoor use, apply the tape to a clean, dry surface and consider sealing the edges in highly humid or salt-air environments.
Yes. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds well to clean metal, plastic, glass, acrylic, painted surfaces, paper, and most smooth substrates. Wipe the surface free of dust, oil, and moisture before applying for the strongest bond.
Clean and dry the surface first. Press the tape firmly along its entire length, paying special attention to edges and overlaps. Avoid stretching the tape during application, and burnish overlaps firmly to ensure full contact between the conductive adhesive and the surface below.
Orders ship within 1–5 business days. Multiple widths available to match your project requirements.
You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
