Premium Metal Wire in Various Gauges and Lengths
How Metal Wire Is Manufactured
Metal wire is fabricated via a precision drawing process. It begins with metal billets or rods that are hot-rolled into thinner blanks. The material then goes through multiple cold-drawing passes through precision dies, steadily reducing its diameter to the required gauge while improving surface smoothness. Intermediate annealing is applied to soften the metal and prevent fracture during processing. Final steps may include surface treatment, straightening and custom cutting.
