RapidKeen brass sheet is a flat-rolled, thin brass sheet metal supplied from 0.3 to 6 mm (under 1/4 inch) and sold by gauge. Also searched as thin brass sheet, flat brass sheet and brass sheet stock, it bends, stamps, punches, brazes and polishes cleanly, with a warm gold-like finish that suits both working parts and visible decorative pieces.
Brass sheet covers the thin, gauge-measured range below 1/4 inch, from 0.3 to 6 mm. Common brass sheet gauges include 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 gauge — the higher the gauge number, the thinner the sheet. This is the grade of flat brass chosen whenever a part has to be bent, formed, stamped or polished rather than heavily machined.
Stock-size flat brass sheet panels, including 36 in × 96 in and 4×8 (48 in × 96 in) sheets in natural mill finish.
Brass sheet cut to your exact width and length as blanks or panels, so you receive ready-to-use pieces with little off-cut waste.
Mill finish as standard, with optional PVC film on one or both sides, brushed or polished surface, and soft to half-hard tempers.
Bends, folds, stamps, punches and deep-draws well, especially in soft temper — ideal for shaped and fabricated parts.
Brazes, solders and welds smoothly, making brass sheet simple to assemble into frames, fittings and assemblies.
A natural gold-toned surface that buffs to a bright shine or brushes to a satin look, and ages into an even patina over time.
Does not rust like steel in normal atmosphere and holds up well indoors and in sheltered outdoor settings.
Thin brass sheet is equally at home in the workshop and on show: fabricators use it for bent brackets, stamped clips and shims, while designers and makers use it for nameplates, engraved plaques, kick plates, lamp and furniture trim, backsplashes and detailed craft or jewelry work that needs a genuine brass appearance.

Send the gauge, width and length your project needs and brass sheet is cut to size accordingly. Standard gauges and sheet sizes ship from stock, while custom dimensions, tempers or finishes are produced to order based on fabrication complexity.
Processing: in-stock standard brass sheet orders are dispatched within 1–5 business days. Custom-cut or made-to-order sheet needs extra processing time that increases with fabrication difficulty.
Transit: after the order ships, delivery normally takes 7–15 days.
Custom brass sheet is cut or processed to your exact dimensions. Once cutting or fabrication has started, a custom order cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged. Please confirm gauge, thickness, temper, finish, width and length before ordering.
Brass sheet is the thin, gauge-measured material under 1/4 in (this range, 0.3–6 mm) made for forming and decorative work. Flat brass 1/4 in and thicker is ordered as brass plate for structural and machined parts.
Brass foil is the thinnest flat-rolled grade (under 0.15 mm) and is often coiled. Brass sheet starts thicker at 0.3 mm and is supplied as wider, flat panels and blanks.
Higher gauge numbers are thinner. Use 22–24 gauge for crafts, wraps and light forming, and 16–18 gauge for panels, kick plates, brackets and stiffer trim.
Choose soft annealed sheet for deep bends and draws, half-hard for flat panels and general fabrication, and hard temper when a part must hold a stiff, spring-like shape.
Yes — standard 4×8 and 36 in × 96 in sheets are available, and pieces can be cut to your exact width and length as ready-to-use blanks.
