What Is Single-Conductive Self-Adhesive Copper Foil Tape?
Single-conductive self-adhesive copper foil tape is a thin, flexible adhesive backed copper foil supplied on a protective release liner. The exposed copper surface is fully conductive, while the pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive on the back is non-conductive and electrically insulates the bonded side. You simply peel off the liner and press the copper foil tape into place — no tools, heat or soldering are required to install it.
How the three layers work
- Conductive copper face — a high-purity copper foil surface that carries current and blocks electromagnetic interference.
- Non-conductive acrylic adhesive — a strong, age-resistant self-adhesive layer that grips the substrate without creating an electrical path through the glue line, helping to prevent unintended short circuits.
- Release liner — peels away cleanly so the adhesive backed copper foil lays down flat without wrinkles.

Single-Conductive vs Double-Conductive Copper Foil Tape
This single-conductive self-adhesive copper foil tape conducts electricity on the exposed copper face, while the non-conductive adhesive insulates the bonded side. It is the cost-effective choice for general shielding and wrapping where current does not need to travel through the glue line. If your design requires point-to-point electrical contact through the adhesive — for example bonding copper directly onto a grounded metal surface — a double-conductive copper foil tape with conductive adhesive is the better match.

Returns & Custom Orders
Custom and cut-to-size self-adhesive copper foil tape is fabricated to your ordered dimensions. Once cutting or processing has begun, custom products cannot be cancelled or returned. Please confirm your width, length and form before ordering.

You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
