We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Ultra-fine single-crystal copper wire made by Ohno Continuous Casting, in a long continuous crystal structure for HiFi audio cables, headphone wiring, and fine winding.
Ordinary drawn copper is made of many small crystals, and the boundaries between those crystals interrupt the path along which signal and current travel. 6N single crystal copper wire (OCC) — also called mono-crystal copper wire, solid OCC wire, OCC copper wire, or single-crystal bare copper wire — is produced by Ohno Continuous Casting, which forms a long, continuous crystal structure with far fewer grain boundaries along the length of the conductor. The result is a smooth, high-purity signal path favored in HiFi and audio applications where detail and clarity matter.
This wire is a 6N, 99.9999% pure single solid strand, supplied bare and uncoated in the ultra-fine diameter range. It is the conductor used for headphone and earphone cables, HiFi interconnects and internal wiring, fine signal and coil winding, instrument and probe work, and precision hobby and experimental builds across the United States.
OCC stands for Ohno Continuous Casting, a process that casts copper into a long, continuous single-crystal structure rather than drawing it from ordinary polycrystalline stock. 6N indicates a purity of 99.9999%, supported by the purity documentation for this material. In this product the OCC conductor is drawn to an ultra-fine, single-strand, bare (uninsulated) wire that remains soft and easy to wind, twist, and solder. US buyers search this material as “OCC wire,” “single crystal copper wire,” “mono-crystal copper wire,” “6N OCC wire,” “solid OCC wire,” “HiFi OCC wire,” and “OCC headphone wire.”
This ultra-fine OCC wire is ordered by millimeter diameter, with the closest American Wire Gauge shown as a guide. Each variant is one solid bare strand.
| Diameter variant | Approx. AWG | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 0.01mm (38 AWG) | ≈38 AWG | Finest signal wire, delicate winding, micro connections |
| 0.02mm (32 AWG) | ≈32 AWG | Fine headphone strands, tiny coils and links |
| 0.03mm (29 AWG) | ≈29 AWG | Ultra-fine audio conductors, small signal paths |
| 0.04mm (26 AWG) | ≈26 AWG | Headphone and earphone cable conductors |
| 0.05mm (24 AWG) | ≈24 AWG | HiFi internal wiring, fine winding and probes |
AWG values are approximate because American Wire Gauge sizes do not convert to exact round millimeter values. The complete OCC range is in the single crystal copper wire collection.
High-purity single-crystal copper, supplied with purity documentation, for a clean and detailed signal path.
Ohno Continuous Casting creates a long crystal structure with far fewer grain boundaries along the conductor.
One continuous bare strand that winds, twists, and terminates cleanly in fine audio and winding work.
No enamel or insulation; the full surface conducts, and the wire solders quickly without stripping.
Select the millimeter variant, using the approximate AWG as a guide; finer sizes suit multi-strand cables and tiny windings.
Order the continuous length or spool quantity needed. Cable builders often combine several fine OCC strands per conductor.
This is bare wire with no coating; add your own insulation or sleeving when building cables and harnesses.
6N solid OCC wire is supplied in continuous lengths or on spools to the order. Diameters outside the standard ultra-fine range, specified spool lengths, or additional processing are handled as custom orders, with handling time extended according to the difficulty and complexity of the work. Every standard variant uses the same 6N, 99.9999% single-crystal copper material.
Standard (in-stock) 6N solid OCC wire ships within 1–5 business days.
Custom-cut or processed orders require additional handling time based on processing difficulty and complexity.
After shipment, delivery typically takes 7–15 days to arrive, depending on the destination.
OCC stands for Ohno Continuous Casting, a process that forms copper into a long, continuous single-crystal structure with far fewer grain boundaries than ordinary drawn copper.
6N indicates 99.9999% purity. Purity documentation is available for this material; it is not the same as lower-purity 4N or ordinary copper.
It is one single solid strand and is bare, with no enamel or plastic insulation. Cable builders add their own sleeving or combine several fine strands.
The ultra-fine range covers 0.01mm to 0.05mm, ordered by millimeter with approximate AWG shown (about 38 AWG to 24 AWG).
HiFi interconnects and internal wiring, headphone and earphone cables, fine signal paths, small coil and probe winding, and precision audio and experimental builds.
Yes. With no coating to remove, bare single-crystal copper solders quickly with fine solder and flux for clean signal joints.
You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
