We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Large-diameter, single-strand bare copper wire selected by millimeter diameter, with approximate AWG shown, supplied in 10-meter units for grounding, battery, and high-current power work.
Heavy bare pure copper 110 wire — also called thick solid copper wire, large-gauge bare copper wire, grounding copper wire, or heavy copper conductor — is single-strand, uncoated, 99.9% pure copper 110 wire in the large-diameter range. Its thick solid cross-section carries high current and creates low-resistance grounding and bonding paths, while remaining easy to bend, clamp, crimp into lugs, and solder or braze. US buyers use heavy bare copper wire for grounding and bonding systems, battery and inverter cables, bus and jumper links, power distribution, welding and high-current equipment, solar and off-grid systems, RV, automotive and marine wiring, antenna and electric-fence grounds, and electrical repairs. It is supplied in 10-meter units in the United States.
This heavy wire is selected by its diameter in millimeters, with the approximate American Wire Gauge (AWG) shown in brackets. Because it is bare, it has no insulation and is used directly as a conductor, ground, or bonding path.
Pure copper 110 is commercial-grade 99.9% pure copper valued for high electrical and thermal conductivity, natural corrosion resistance, and excellent ductility. Drawn into heavy single-strand wire, it becomes a rigid-yet-bendable solid conductor suited to high-current and grounding duty. It remains one solid strand (not stranded) and bare (no coating). US buyers search this range as “heavy copper wire,” “thick solid copper wire,” “large gauge copper wire,” “bare grounding wire,” “solid copper conductor,” “battery copper wire,” and by millimeter or AWG diameter. Smaller sizes are supplied as fine bare copper wire, and audio-grade single-crystal wire is supplied separately as 6N OCC wire.
Heavy wire is ordered by millimeter diameter, with the closest AWG shown as a guide. Each diameter is a single solid strand, bare and uncoated, supplied in standard 10-meter units.
| Diameter variant | Approx. AWG | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0mm (18 AWG) | ≈18 AWG | General grounding, small power links |
| 1.5mm (15 AWG) | ≈15 AWG | Ground leads, small battery connections |
| 2.0mm (12 AWG) | ≈12 AWG | Battery links, inverters, equipment grounds |
| 2.5mm (10 AWG) | ≈10 AWG | High-current jumpers, common grounding size |
| 3.0mm (9 AWG) | ≈9 AWG | Grounding and bonding, bus links |
| 3.5mm (7 AWG) | ≈7 AWG | Battery cables, heavy equipment leads |
| 4.0mm (6 AWG) | ≈6 AWG | Inverter and high-current power runs |
| 4.5mm (5 AWG) | ≈5 AWG | Battery and welding-adjacent connections |
| 5.0mm (4 AWG) | ≈4 AWG | Heavy battery cables, power distribution |
| 5.5mm (4 AWG) | ≈4 AWG | Large grounding conductors, bus ties |
| 6.0mm (3 AWG) | ≈3 AWG | Largest high-current and grounding links |
AWG numbers are approximate because American Wire Gauge sizes do not convert to round millimeter values. Smaller diameters are supplied as fine bare copper wire on 100-meter spools, and the full range is in the copper wire collection.
Select the millimeter variant, using the approximate AWG in brackets as a guide. Larger diameters carry more current and suit grounding and battery cables.
Each diameter is supplied in a standard 10-meter unit as one continuous solid length. Adjust quantity to the total number of units or meters required.
Bare wire is uninsulated and terminates with crimp lugs, clamps, or bolted connections. Specify non-standard lengths or diameters as custom requirements.
Heavy bare copper wire is routed and bent by hand or with bending tools, then cut to length and terminated with crimp or compression lugs, mechanical clamps, bolted bus connections, or by soldering and brazing. The solid strand holds its routed shape and gives a large contact area when the lug or clamp is seated fully. As an uninsulated conductor, it should be kept clear of unintended contact with other conductors or metalwork and supported along long runs. Copper’s natural corrosion resistance makes it suitable for exposed grounding duty, and the bare surface should be kept clean at every termination for a low-resistance joint.
Heavy bare pure copper 110 wire is supplied in 10-meter units as one continuous solid length per unit. Diameters outside the standard range, different lengths, or additional processing are handled as custom orders, with handling time extended according to the difficulty and complexity of the work. Smaller-diameter conductor is supplied as fine bare copper wire on 100-meter spools.
Standard (in-stock) heavy bare pure copper 110 wire ships within 1–5 business days.
Custom-cut or processed orders require additional handling time based on processing difficulty and complexity.
After shipment, delivery typically takes 7–15 days to arrive, depending on the destination.
It is a single solid strand, not stranded, chosen for fixed grounding, battery links, and high-current bus connections that need the conductor to hold its routed shape.
No. It is bare and uncoated so the whole surface conducts and bonds. It is used for grounding, bus links, and direct battery and power connections.
The heavy range covers 1mm to 6mm, ordered by millimeter with approximate AWG shown in brackets (about 18 AWG to 3 AWG). Smaller sizes are fine bare copper wire.
In standard 10-meter units as one continuous solid length per unit; adjust quantity to the meters the installation needs. Other lengths can be handled as custom requirements.
With crimp or compression lugs, mechanical clamps, bolted bus connections, or soldered and brazed joints, keeping the bare surface clean for a low-resistance contact.
Grounding and bonding, battery and inverter cables, solar and off-grid power, bus and jumper links, welding and high-current equipment, antenna and fence grounds, and electrical repairs.
You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
