We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Small-diameter, single-strand bare copper wire selected by diameter in millimeters, with approximate AWG shown, supplied as 100-meter spools for winding, electronics, and crafts.
Fine bare pure copper 110 wire — also called thin solid copper wire, small-gauge bare copper wire, soft copper wire, or fine copper wire — is single-strand, uncoated, 99.9% pure copper 110 wire in the small-diameter range. It is soft, flexible, and highly conductive, so it winds, wraps, twists, and solders easily. US buyers use fine bare copper wire for coil and solenoid winding, small transformer and inductor work, electronics prototyping and wire wrapping, jumper and ground connections, jewelry and wire crafts, beading, sculptures, small-batch harnesses, and hobby and experimental projects. It is supplied on 100-meter spools in the United States.
This fine wire is selected by its diameter in millimeters, with the approximate American Wire Gauge (AWG) shown in brackets for reference. Because it is bare, it carries no enamel or insulation; it is for exposed conductive work, connections, and crafts rather than insulated magnet-wire coils.
Pure copper 110 is commercial-grade 99.9% pure copper valued for high electrical and thermal conductivity, natural corrosion resistance, and excellent ductility. Drawn into fine single-strand wire, it becomes soft and easy to handle, while staying solid (one strand, not stranded) and bare (no coating). US buyers search this range as “fine copper wire,” “thin solid copper wire,” “small gauge copper wire,” “bare copper wire,” “soft copper wire,” “copper wire for winding,” “copper wire for crafts,” and by millimeter or AWG diameter. Thicker conductor sizes are supplied as heavy bare copper wire, and a single-crystal audio-grade wire is supplied separately as 6N OCC wire.
Fine wire is ordered by millimeter diameter, with the closest AWG shown as a guide. Each diameter variant is a single solid strand, bare and uncoated, and is supplied on a standard 100-meter spool.
| Diameter variant | Approx. AWG | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 0.1mm (38 AWG) | ≈38 AWG | Very fine winding, delicate electronics, micro coils |
| 0.2mm (32 AWG) | ≈32 AWG | Fine coils, small solenoids, wire-wrapping |
| 0.3mm (29 AWG) | ≈29 AWG | Winding, prototype circuits, tiny connections |
| 0.4mm (26 AWG) | ≈26 AWG | Inductors, relays, small electronics links |
| 0.5mm (24 AWG) | ≈24 AWG | General winding, jumpers, fine craft wire |
| 0.6mm (23 AWG) | ≈23 AWG | Coils, wire wrapping, jewelry frames |
| 0.7mm (21 AWG) | ≈21 AWG | Small transformers, craft armatures |
| 0.8mm (20 AWG) | ≈20 AWG | Windings, bus links, heavier craft wire |
| 0.9mm (19 AWG) | ≈19 AWG | Largest fine-wire coils, small ground links |
AWG numbers are approximate because American Wire Gauge sizes do not convert to round millimeter values. Sizes above the fine range are supplied as heavy bare copper wire, and the full range is in the copper wire collection.
Select the millimeter variant, using the approximate AWG in brackets as a guide. Choose the finest sizes for tight winding and the larger fine sizes for sturdier links and crafts.
Each diameter is supplied on a standard 100-meter spool as one continuous length. Adjust the quantity to the total number of spools or meters the project needs.
This is bare wire with no insulation. For insulated coils where turns touch, use enameled magnet wire; for exposed conductive and craft work, this bare wire is the correct choice.
Fine bare pure copper 110 wire is supplied on 100-meter spools as one continuous single-strand length per spool. Diameters outside the standard fine range, different spool lengths, or additional processing are handled as custom orders, with handling time extended according to the difficulty and complexity of the work. Larger-diameter solid conductor is supplied as heavy bare copper wire on 10-meter units.
Standard (in-stock) fine bare pure copper 110 wire ships within 1–5 business days.
Custom-cut or processed orders require additional handling time based on processing difficulty and complexity.
After shipment, delivery typically takes 7–15 days to arrive, depending on the destination.
It is a single solid strand (single-strand wire), not stranded. It is soft-drawn bare copper supplied in one continuous length on the spool.
No. It is bare and uncoated with no enamel or plastic layer, so the whole surface conducts. For insulated winding, use enameled magnet wire instead.
The fine range covers 0.1mm to 0.9mm, ordered by millimeter with approximate AWG shown in brackets (about 38 AWG to 19 AWG). Larger sizes are heavy bare copper wire.
Each fine-wire diameter is supplied as a standard 100-meter spool in one continuous length. Other spool lengths can be handled as custom requirements.
American Wire Gauge sizes do not convert to exact round millimeter values, so each millimeter diameter is matched to the nearest AWG size for reference.
Yes for separated or interlayer-insulated coils, contacts, and experimental windings; for coils where bare turns touch, enameled magnet wire is needed to prevent shorting.
You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
