We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Rigid, heavy-gauge solid copper plate stock in millimeters and inches, cut to your exact length, width, blank, or machined component.
Pure copper 110 plate — also called thick copper plate, heavy copper plate, or solid copper plate stock — is flat-rolled 99.9% pure copper 110 in the rigid, heavy-gauge range that keeps its shape and carries heavy current or thermal load. Where thin sheet bends by hand, copper plate is engineered for structural, electrical, and industrial duty: busbar plates and collector plates, electrode and anode plates, heat spreaders and cold plates, machine components, heavy connectors, and thick washers and gaskets. It is supplied in millimeters and inches and cut to the exact length, width, or blank your drawing requires across the United States.
Heavy copper plate is the starting material for machined and milled copper parts, waterjet and laser-cut blanks, high-current busbars, and furnace, plating, and welding equipment. Standard plate sizes and custom-cut pieces are both available; thinner material is supplied as sheet, and very thin flat material as foil.
Pure copper 110 is commercial-grade 99.9% pure copper valued for high electrical and thermal conductivity, natural corrosion resistance, and a solid, dense structure suitable for heavy machining and connection. In plate form it is a flat-rolled product in the heavy range, beginning around 6 mm (1/4 inch) and extending through the thickest standard gauges. Thick copper plate is stiff enough to drill, mill, tap, and bolt without distortion, and its mass gives it the current capacity and thermal storage needed by power and process equipment. US buyers search this material as “copper plate,” “thick copper plate,” “heavy copper plate,” “solid copper plate,” and “copper plate cut to size.”
Plate covers heavy gauges from 6 mm to 50 mm. Select thickness as the product variant, then specify the length and width or blank. All thicknesses are shown in millimeters and approximate inch equivalents.
| Thickness (mm) | Approx. inch | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 6 mm | 0.236" (≈1/4") | Busbar plates, heavy electrical plates, guards |
| 8 mm | 0.315" (≈5/16") | Collector plates, heat spreaders, machine parts |
| 10 mm | 0.394" (≈3/8") | High-current plates, electrode backplates |
| 12 mm | 0.472" (≈1/2") | Heavy busbars, cold plates, fixture plates |
| 15 mm | 0.591" (≈19/32") | Process equipment plates, anode supports |
| 18 mm | 0.709" (≈11/16") | Electrode plates, furnace components, rails |
| 20 mm | 0.787" (≈13/16") | Heavy connection plates, rectifier bars |
| 25 mm | 0.984" (≈1") | Main busbar plates, thermal masses, mold parts |
| 30 mm | 1.181" (≈1-3/16") | Industrial electrodes, heavy heat-transfer plates |
| 40 mm | 1.575" (≈1-9/16") | Furnace and smelting hardware, large conductors |
| 50 mm | 1.969" (≈2") | Heaviest conductors, process and machine blocks |
Thinner, formable material is supplied as pure copper 110 sheet; very thin flat material is supplied as copper foil. Narrow rectangular sections are supplied as flat bar in the sheet and plate collection.
Select the plate thickness from the variants in millimeters or inches. Choose heavier sections for high current, thermal mass, or parts that will be machined on both faces.
Provide rectangular dimensions or a blank and component drawing. Plate can be supplied as cut rectangles, shaped blanks, or near-net shapes for machining.
Order single pieces or production batches, and note any additional cutting or machining. Standard cut pieces are supplied in the natural mill finish.
Pure copper 110 plate cuts with industrial saws, waterjet, or laser and is well suited to CNC milling, drilling, tapping, and facing. Heavy sections need sharp carbide tooling and appropriate speeds and feeds for clean cuts, and the solid plate bolts and clamps firmly for machining. Joints are made by bolting, brazing, or welding; the flat faces give large contact areas for bolted high-current connections. The natural mill surface can be left bare for industrial use, polished for visible components, or allowed to develop a stable patina in outdoor or chemical environments.
Pure copper 110 plate is supplied in standard plate sizes or cut to specified length, width, blank, or shape, in millimeters or inches. Repeated identical blanks, busbar plates, electrode pieces, washers, and near-net component shapes can be produced from the same thickness so parts arrive ready for final machining or installation. Thicknesses or dimensions outside the standard range, or parts requiring additional processing, are handled as custom orders, with handling time extended according to the difficulty and complexity of the work.
Standard (in-stock) pure copper 110 plate ships within 1–5 business days.
Custom-cut or processed orders require additional handling time based on processing difficulty and complexity.
After shipment, delivery typically takes 7–15 days to arrive, depending on the destination.
Plate covers the heavy, rigid flat-rolled range from about 6 mm (1/4 inch) upward; thinner formable material is sheet, and very thin material is foil.
High-current busbar and collector plates, electrode and anode plates, heat spreaders and cold plates, heavy connectors and terminals, furnace and welding hardware, and machined structural copper parts.
Yes. Plate is supplied in standard sizes or cut to rectangles, shapes, and near-net blanks in millimeters or inches, ready for final machining.
Yes. Solid 99.9% pure copper 110 plate drills, mills, taps, faces, and bolts with sharp carbide tooling and is a common blank for machined electrical and thermal components.
Yes. The dense, high-purity copper section spreads and transfers heat efficiently, so plate is used for heat spreaders, cold plates, and thermal storage in power electronics and process equipment.
Choose plate for wide rectangular blanks and machined plates, and flat bar for narrow, straight-length rectangular conductors such as busbars and straps in the bar and rod collection.
You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
